Description
What we have here is an 18"x24" painting of 'THE GREAT WONDER'. I was pleased to come across a description of the classic image of the Virgine of Gaudalupe in the last book of the Bible, Revelations. Rev 12:1 says, " And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars." Further on it says that the woman was about to give birth, and to the woman was given the two wings of the Great Eagle that she might escape the red dragon that was ready to devour her child as soon as it was born. Is this child Jesus the Christ about to bring light into the world?
