Nuestra Senora de los Lentes Perdidos, 'The Virgin of Guadalupe with the Lost Glasses' is the title of this 11"x14" painting. As we all get a little older reading glasses become a great help especially in low light situations. Naomi and I had more than a few pair we got at the dollar store, but when we needed them, we couldn't find them. Maybe if we asked Guadalupe, OH! there they are. we soon had a dozen pairs before us. I created this painting to honor that event. When I needed cataract surgery a while ago, this little painting came through for me. My eye Dr. V.Claire came to one of my art shows, she saw this painting and suggested that we trade the painting for her surgical fee. And it was so.
