Artist's Description
The Zen Center is the title of this pen and ink. The Dharma Sangha Crestone Mountain Zen Center Lindisfarne Retreat has a dome that is an interwoven wood structure using no nails or screws and resembles a giant basket. Our friends Doug Beachwood and Amulya had their Steampunk Wedding there, it was amazing. Thank you Doug and Amulya for a wonderful memory.
About James RODERICK
James Joseph Roderick grew up in Provincetown, Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the 50's and 60's and attended the Art Institute of Boston in the early 70's. Since moving to Colorado in the mid-nineties, his art has fully turned into an honoring of the Goddess, the Divine Feminine in us all. He has painted over 60 images of The Virgin of Guadalupe. His mission, through his art work, is to bring awareness to the feminine side of the Divine. He can be contacted at roderickartworks@gmail.com.
